Beautiful Arizona car! 66 Corsa in for Clutch replacement, front end work, brake work, u-joints, and fixing lots of leaks. The car was attacked by silicone and we all know what that means.

FeltVairs is looking to add another person. We have too many cars coming in along with engine builds etc. If you have Corvair experience or mechanical experience we can train you on the Corvair. We are also considering adding Porsche, Audi and VW to vehicles we service. We are located in Western NC. Send us a DM.

Picture on left is 1960-63 Corvair content from Unsafe at Any Speed. The picture on the right is the rest of the book unrelated to anything Corvair. Unsafe at Any Speed was not a book on the Corvair! Remember this when someone calls your car Unsafe at Any Speed! The only car that has had a book written entirely on its safety short comings was the VW. That book was “Small on Safety” Written in 1972 by your favorite consumer advocate group.

I post this once a year. This gets confusing especially when someone is posting parts for sale. These are actual definitions copied and pasted

Trunk :The trunk (North American English) or boot (British English) of a car is the vehicle's main storage or cargo compartment, often a hatch at the rear of the vehicle.

Hood: The hood (American English) or bonnet (Commonwealth English) is the hinged cover over the engine of motor vehicles. Hoods can open to allow access to the engine compartment, or trunk (boot in Commonwealth English) on rear-engine and some mid-engine vehicles) for maintenance and repair.

Please remember or make note that even though the trunk is in front, it by definition is still the trunk. The part that covers the engine is the Hood. Even though it’s on the back it is by definition still a Hood. So front of Corvair = trunk and trunk lid, not hood. Back of Corvair= Engine compartment and has a Hood that covers the engine. Thanks and have a great night!

Well look what just showed up at FeltVairs! I nice little greenbrier. Hasn’t run in a couple of years. Fuel pump leaked into crankcase, stuck float and no brakes. Gonna have fun on this one because it is my first FC. Rebuilding carbs, new fuel pump, change oil, fix brakes and see if we can get it back to work for its owner before summer is over.
