Built from the ground up with a Chevrolet Performance LS3, Roadster Shop Spec chassis, custom interior, and finished in BASF Glasurit paint. A timeless build that still looks as good today as the day it left our shop.

This 1987 GMC V1500 High Sierra pickup is powered by a BluePrint Engines 350ci V8 linked with a four-speed automatic transmission and dual-range transfer case. Work since 2023 consisted of servicing the wheel bearings and replacing the brake lines and hoses, rear wheel cylinders, upper and lower ball joints, fuel tanks, fuel pumps, hoses, and wiring components. Finished in blue over blue cloth and vinyl upholstery, the truck is equipped with a four-barrel carburetor, an aftermarket dual exhaust system, a receiver hitch, Warn manually locking front hubs, 17″ Mickey Thompson aluminum wheels, air conditioning, and a retro-style digital stereo with USB and auxiliary inputs…

We’re getting started on Frank’s 1969 Chevelle, and the foundation is getting a serious upgrade. The original chassis is coming out to make room for a new Roadster Shop Fast Track chassis, paired with a fresh Chevrolet Performance LS3 V8 rated at 525 horsepower.

This is just the beginning. The Chevelle is headed for a long list of performance, handling, and drivability upgrades that will transform it into a modern muscle car while keeping its classic look. Stay tuned as we dive into the build and bring this project to life.

A huge thank you to everyone who came out to our Open House this weekend! We had an incredible turnout, great weather, amazing cars, and most importantly, the chance to spend time with so many friends, customers, and fellow enthusiasts.

We were excited to welcome everyone into our new home and share what we’ve been working on. Seeing so many people walk through the doors, check out the shop, and enjoy the evening made all the hard work worth it.
