I see this person in my neighborhood helping care for an elderly person, and I know caregiving isn’t an easy job.

When I noticed how badly her headlights needed some attention, I offered to restore them for her as a small way of saying I appreciate what you do.

She brought the car by the next day, and the headlights came back beautifully.

Sometimes detailing is about more than the vehicle. Sometimes it’s simply an opportunity to give back. 🙏

This paint started out feeling like sandpaper.

I used KCX Multi Star at 15:1 for the pre-soak, rinsed thoroughly, and then reassessed the surface. The contamination was gone and the paint felt smooth even on the roof, where it was the worst.

At that point, there was no reason for me to clay or use a clay towel. Why add an unnecessary mechanical step when the contamination has already been removed?

Assess the surface. Use the least aggressive process necessary. Clay only when needed.

This Porsche was all about precision from start to finish.

Blowing out the nooks and crannies, taking paint measurements, evaluating the finish, and working through the polishing stages with a controlled approach.

The goal isn’t just to make paint shine it’s to understand what you’re working with and preserve the integrity of the vehicle throughout the process.

Understanding the contamination, the material you’re working on, proper dilution, and how to safely approach the surface comes first. Then you choose the chemical that fits the situation.

Professional detailing isn’t about chasing the next product it’s about understanding why, where, and how you use it.

I don’t just apply tire dressing and move on.

I apply it to the tire, give it time to dwell and work into the rubber, then come back with an applicator to level and finish it. Wheel wells get the same attention.

Apply. Dwell. Level. Finish.

About one month after the ceramic coating, back for its first maintenance wash.

A proper coating isn’t just about how it looks the day it leaves. It’s about how it performs and how it’s maintained afterward.

Contact wash, rinse, check the water behavior, controlled blow dry and then time with the owner to go over how the coating is performing and how to properly care for it moving forward.

I also provided a ceramic coating care guide for him to keep as a reference.

The service doesn’t end with the coating. Client education is part of the process.

I feel Every vehicle tells you where to start and you just have to evaluate it first.

Before applying my pre-soak, I look at the entire vehicle and determine where the heaviest contamination is. That assessment helps determine not only where I begin, but also how I adjust my chemistry for the condition in front of me.

There’s no reason every vehicle has to start with the same process, in the same place, with the same dilution.

Evaluate first. Adjust your process and dilution accordingly.

A good process isn’t just about what you clean it’s about giving yourself opportunities to verify the work along the way.

Small checks throughout a detail can make the difference between simply completing a process and knowing you covered the details.

It’s not about doing the same job twice. It’s about building checks into the process.
