Don't take our word for it. Compare the Google ratings yourself.

valueGLASS: 5.0 stars from 490 Google reviews.
Safelite Silverdale: 4.1 stars from 395 Google reviews.
(Google ratings as of October 2026.)

Here's what else you should know. Safelite's sister company, Safelite Solutions, handles glass claims for a long list of insurance companies. So when you call your insurer about a cracked windshield, you may be talking to the same corporate family that wants to do the work. In Washington, you have the right to choose any glass shop (RCW 48.30.340), and valueGLASS is a preferred vendor in the insurance networks too.

Want one of these? Stop by our shop at 3228 Perry Ave in Bremerton for a free "Safelite Sucks" bumper sticker and other giveaways from The Independent Kitsap, while supplies last.

Going to great heights in downtown Bremerton.

Some glass jobs are simple. Some require scaffold access, careful planning, and a crew that knows how to get the work done safely and correctly.

Residential, commercial, storefront, or specialty glass — valueGLASS shows up prepared.

Here is one documented example of modern windshield costs: AAA's December 2023 study estimated an average of $1,439.78 for windshield replacement and associated ADAS work across three 2023 vehicles—a Ford F-150, Nissan Rogue and Toyota Camry.

That is a three-vehicle study, not today's national average or a quote for your car.

It does show why newer-vehicle owners can experience sticker shock. Get a complete valueGLASS quote before deciding what your replacement should cost.

Still the same building. Not the same company.

Auto Glass Plus in Bremerton is now Safelite, the biggest auto glass chain in the country. Washington's state contract records list Safelite as the successor to Auto Glass Plus, and Safelite's Bremerton store now lists the same 555 Bruenn Ave address.

Another local shop swallowed by a national chain, and another local paycheck that now leaves Kitsap.

valueGLASS is different. We started in a Poulsbo garage in 2014 and built this company from nothing. We didn't buy a shop. We didn't inherit a reputation. We earned ours one customer at a time: 490 five-star Google reviews and counting.

Veteran-owned. Locally built. Fiercely independent.

A lot has changed in just the past five years—including what can be involved in replacing your windshield.

On newer vehicles, the glass may work with driver-assistance cameras, rain sensors, heating or a head-up display. The exact equipment matters, and camera calibration may be part of the job.

At valueGLASS, we check your vehicle's requirements and explain the complete quote. Our ADAS recalibration is $175, and our quotes include taxes.

Driving a newer car, truck or SUV? Send us your year, make, model and VIN privately. Let's find out what YOUR vehicle needs.

This one was rough. 😬

A customer brought this BMW into our Bremerton shop with a windshield that was smashed so badly it wasn't safe to drive. Our team cut out the shattered glass, set a brand-new windshield, and got them back on the road.

Helping someone out of a tough spot like this is the best part of what we do. 🙌

If your windshield took a hit, big or small, give us a call. Locally owned, veteran owned, and we don't upsell.
