We’re OPEN during the Hwy 3 closure

OPEN DURING CONSTRUCTION
We will be open during construction on Hwy 3, single lane closure start June 1st, and complete road closure June 13-29th.
If coming from Gorst use Sunnyslope detour.

The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) will temporarily close SR 3 near Gorst from 7 a.m. Saturday, June 13, through 7 a.m. Monday, June 29 for fish passage work.

Both directions of SR 3 will close near Sunnyslope Road SW for 16 days. Signed detours will be in place:
• Drivers: Sunnyslope Rd SW and SW Lake Flora Rd
• Pedestrians and bicyclists: NE Old Belfair Hwy/W Belfair Valley Rd
• Commercial vehicles: SR 302 and SR 16

Local access for residents and businesses north and south of the closure will remain open, but through traffic will not be allowed. Those travelling to Olympic View Transfer Station and the Household Hazardous Waste Facilities should follow the detour path. These facilities will remain open for regular business operations throughout the closure.

Just the new stock from this last week.

Meet RV (bearded dragon) and Mr. T (Brazilian black tarantula). They’re our new office staff. We saved them from a motor home we brought in. They had been abandoned for at least a month before we rescued them. Both are eating well. RV got a new tank upgrade.
