Lately, we’ve been seeing more fuel system concerns on the 6.7 Powerstroke—specifically around the 𝗖𝗣𝟰 𝗵𝗶𝗴𝗵-𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗳𝘂𝗲𝗹 𝗽𝘂𝗺𝗽.

The reality is, when a CP4 fails, it doesn’t just stop working. It can send metal through the entire fuel system—injectors, rails, lines, and tank—turning what should be a single-component failure into a full system teardown and repair.

And unfortunately, these failures don’t always come with warning signs or high mileage. We’ve seen them happen on well-maintained trucks simply due to how sensitive the system is to fuel quality and lubrication.
