9/5/25 & 9/6/26 Springfield Raceway

What a weekend with ups and downs. We decided to try the afco 14 series shocks for the first time on the Midwest mod. As I don’t think they are bad shocks I don’t think they are as good as my Bilstein shocks. I do think they are good for this class if everyone has to be on them.

However rolled out p3 in the third heat on Saturday night. First lap frame rail plowed the surface once we figured it out we took the lead coming to the white flap went into 1&2 and done it again tried to correct and ended up spinning out. That put me rolling out p19 for the feature and with a few adjustments we finished p4. Car had a push to it.

Sunday we start maintenance on the car and fine out RF brake is locked up so we fix the problem before the heat. Starting p7 in heat two managed to get p3. Car was still pushing and come to find out again RF brake was locked up again. Fixed the issue again so we thought. Rolled out p4 and finished p3 car was still tight go through tech and by luck of draw they are checking RF to make sure they are stopping correctly. Jacks car up and the tire didn’t even spin. Not good but pasted tech.

Downs we battled all weekend ups we finished in the top 5 and probably had a car to win the weekend had we not had the brake issues.

Started p2 in heat 2 ran there the whole race. Feature time I started 4th and managed to grab win #2 of the year. Had some luck on my side as the leader slipped up and allowed me by.

8/21/26 & 8/22/26 Legit Speedway
Friday night started p4 in heat 3 managed to get p2. Feature was rough started p6 got to p4 had a car come down into me little racing deal unfortunately Cole and I got the rough end. Managed to go p16 to p8.

Saturday night started p1 in heat 2 and lead every lap winning the heat. That set me up for the outside pole in feature. Feature time ran p2 for 15 laps had an awesome race with Mark going unfortunately we found some lap traffic. Leader had to change up his line just a little and we touched. Complete racing deal I think unfortunately I got rough end of that. Went p13 to p10. Overall we had a great car all weekend just some bad luck.

8/15/26 Springfield Raceway

Well we decided to skip the topless and go race. Started 5th in heat two finished 2nd. Car wasn’t far off. We made couple changes and tried a new set of tires from Cam Rank which I was impressed with. Had a few guys saying they wouldn’t work and I believe they are just as good. Started 3rd in the feature ended up 4th for a few laps and ended up spinning out. Went back to I believe 13th and wheeled it back to 4th.

Aubree and I both managed to rack up a pair of podium finishes last night. She got to run the foot race and walked away with 1st.

I started 5th in heat two and finished 5th. Wasn’t much moving going on. Started 6th in the feature and finished 2nd. Car was pretty good needed a little more right rear. We will get that squared away and be back at it in a couple weeks. Next week we will be off for the Topless 100.

Rolled out p3 in heat 2 once the green flag dropped car just fell on its face. Distributor cab had moisture in it put another one on before the feature. Feature time rolled around started p14 and finished p4. Car was awesome driver errors probably cost the podium spot.

7/25/26 Legit Speedway
With the mod being gone through I had the opportunity to drive something new. Drove an Arkansas factory stock. Started P1 in heat finished p3 after a couple mistakes. Started p3 in feature finished p2. Had a great time gonna have to adventure off to that again sometime.

We had a great weekend with friends and family. Was glad to see some of our Springfield friends down in our neck of the woods.

Friday night started p7 in heat one finished p4. Tighten the car up a little for feature. Started p10 got up to p7 after a caution drove in little hard almost spun the car in front of me and looped it finished p15.

Saturday night started p2 in heat one finished p2. For the feature started p4 and finished p6.

Started off p6 in heat one got up to the 3rd-4th spot had a guy trying to push it 4 wide and shoved me into the bottom of the track and broke me. So finished p7. Started the feature p19 wheeled it to p6.
