Not Every “Rebuild” Is the Same

Remember, every transmission labeled “rebuilt” is NOT the same.

Some places throw a friction and seal kit in it, put it back together, and call it rebuilt.

We don’t do that.

When I rebuild a transmission, the goal isn’t just to make it work. The goal is to protect the customer’s investment.

Every unit gets completely disassembled and inspected.

seals get replaced.
bushings gets replaced.
Frictions are replaced.
Pistons are inspected.
Bonded pistons are replaced.
Valve bodies are checked for wear.
Known problem areas are updated.
Hard parts are inspected.
Clearances are measured.
And electronics are replaced when appropriate.

We’re not interested in making something look good long enough to get it out the door.

We ain’t painting it blue and calling it new around here. 😂

There’s a big difference between putting a transmission back together and actually rebuilding one.

When you’re spending thousands of dollars on a transmission, you deserve to know that the person building it is actually trying to protect that investment.

That’s the difference.

A QUICK REMINDER

Sanders Transmission & Performance has always been appointment only.

I’m not available for walk-ins, random drop-ins, or after-hours visits.

There’s only so much I can physically do in a day. I’m working on vehicles, ordering parts, dealing with customers, running the business, and trying to have a life outside of it.

If you need something, call, text, or message the business page and schedule an appointment.

Allow up to 24 hours for a response. Not getting an immediate response does not mean it’s okay to just show up.

And this applies to everyone.

Friends, family, longtime customers, new customers — there are no special exceptions.

Evenings and weekends are my personal time unless you already have an appointment scheduled.

I appreciate every customer who trusts me with their vehicle.

Appointment only means appointment only.

Anybody can throw parts at a problem.

The real job is figuring out WHY it failed in the first place.
