The world's best drag racers pilot the fastest dragsters on the planet in front of 100,000 crazy fans. The facility also features 12 Deluxe Condominiums and The Wheelie Bar & Grille, a full-service bar and grill. Rustic camping is encouraged in a campground that includes 164 full-service RV sites.

Spectator gates open in less than ONE HOUR at 5:30 PM tonight (Friday 2/6)!

We’ve got a classic Minnesota winter evening lined up the right way. Fresh snow, sleds ripping, stands are set, and the Wheelie Bar is open. This is exactly how February is supposed to be done.

Whether you’re racing, cheering, or just looking for something fun to do on a winter night, come on out and enjoy some snowmobile action under the lights. Family-friendly, fast-paced, and a whole lot of fun in the snow.

What a night celebrating Team BIR. 🏁
Nearly 250 racers, crew members, families, and friends filled the room, not an empty seat in the house. The Racer Awards Banquet was the kind of offseason get-together that reminds us why this community matters.

To our racers, you are the heart of this place. From first-time competitors to longtime veterans, and especially our BIR Track Champions who took home trophies, jackets, and gold cards, along with our special award recipients, your commitment and sportsmanship are what make weekends at Brainerd International Raceway special.

Thank you to our sponsors and staff for showing up in a big way. From thousands of dollars in giveaway prizes to the behind-the-scenes work that makes nights like this possible, your support and effort allow us to keep investing back into the racer experience.

And to the families, crews, and supporters, thank you. The weekends, late nights, travel, and sacrifices don’t happen alone. Racing has always been a team effort long before a car ever hits the track.

Huge congratulations to our 2025 NHRA Division 5 Team Champions, bringing home both the Traditional Summit ET Bracket Team Championship and the Inaugural Index Team Championship. On top of that, BIR racers brought home 7 of the 11 category championships. Two team-sized Wallys are right at home at BIR. 🏆🏆

Looking ahead to ET Finals in September 2026, we’re ready to defend those championships and bring even more index racers to the table. We’ll kick off the 2026 season with our Volunteer Track Cleanup Weekend, April 10–12, with more details coming soon. Thank you to everyone who makes BIR what it is. Let’s do it again. 🏁

What a night for BIR. 🏁

The NHRA Division 5 Awards Banquet was a strong showing for our racers—division championships, team titles, and a Driver of the Year honor that reflected a season of grit and great racing. Even better was seeing so many BIR families in one room, sharing stories, laughs, and that off-season energy that reminds you this is bigger than trophies.

Proud of the racers. Proud of the people. And we’re not done yet - looking forward to celebrating our BIR Track Champions this weekend at Grand View Lodge. 🏆

Snowmobiles are headed to BIR for XRacing Sunday Funday’s grassroots Snocross Racing series, bringing real winter fun back to the schedule after a few light snow seasons.
