“Did you repaint it?”

That was the first thing our customer asked when he came to pick up his 2011 Camaro SS, and we’d say that’s a pretty solid reaction. 😎

But there’s a story behind this one.

This gentleman is a repeat customer who has trusted us with several vehicles over the years, including his truck, another car, and Harley.

Years ago, he owned this exact 2011 Camaro SS before eventually selling it. Recently, he managed to track the car down and buy it back.

Unfortunately, he purchased it while it was dirty, and once he got it cleaned up, he started discovering some things he hadn’t noticed beforehand. The paint had accumulated its share of defects, contamination, road paint, and other issues since his previous ownership.

His goal when he brought it to us was simple:

Get it as close as possible to the condition he remembered it being in when he owned it before.

Challenge accepted.

We went to work with:

▪️ Clay treatment
▪️ Road paint removal
▪️ Spot sanding & compounding
▪️ Intensive one-stage paint correction
▪️ Chrome polishing
▪️ Wheel sticker/adhesive removal
▪️ Engine bay detail
▪️ Express interior detail
▪️ Touch-up paint application
▪️ Polymer paint sealant
▪️ Final finishing touches throughout

This one fought us in a few areas, but after putting in the time and working through each issue individually, the transformation spoke for itself.

When he arrived to pick it up, his first words were:

“Wow... did you get it repainted?”

Nope.

Just a whole lot of experience, patience, and paint correction.

Happy Tuesday everyone!

First off, I want to take a quick moment to thank you all for the amazing support we've gotten through our journey. We are truly grateful!

I am writing this as we have recently received a massive influx of customer demand and have been doing our best to keep up while still providing the results our customers expect. Please bear with the delays as we work through quote requests etc as we are able.

On another note, we have also had a bit of an admin backlog and have a few of those items to work through as soon as possible.

Next Dimension Detailing is seeking a motivated, reliable, and detail-oriented Automotive Detail Technician to join our growing team.

We are an established authority in professional vehicle care and protection in the Brainerd Lakes Area, specializing in professional detailing, paint correction, ceramic coatings, and paint protection services. We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, wants to continue developing their skills, and is interested in growing alongside the business.

What We're Looking For

The right candidate will:

- Maintain a positive, professional attitude
- Be dependable and consistent
- Have strong attention to detail and take pride in producing quality work
- Be able to follow documented SOPs, processes, and instructions
- Demonstrate independent thinking and problem-solving skills

Position Responsibilities

Depending on experience and training, responsibilities may include:

- Interior and exterior automotive detailing
- Thorough vehicle washing and decontamination
- Interior cleaning, vacuuming, extraction, and steam cleaning
- Wheel, tire, engine bay, and exterior detail work
- Machine polishing and paint correction
- Vehicle preparation for ceramic coatings and paint protection services
- Ceramic coating installation
- Maintaining an organized and clean work environment
- Following established procedures and quality-control standards
- Proper care and maintenance of detailing tools and equipment

Experience

Professional detailing experience is preferred, but the right attitude, work ethic, and ability to learn are extremely important to us.

Candidates with professional experience in paint correction, ceramic coatings, tint, PPF, undercoating, or other automotive appearance services are strongly encouraged to apply.

It's a fair question, and one we don't mind answering.

We got this C7 Corvette dialed in a bit ago. Interior Detail, exterior Decon Wash, clay, single step paint correction with some spot compounding, then some touch up paint, and our 3 year rated ceramic coating to lock in that shine!
