ATTENTION ARBOR TERRACE RESIDENTS

A Flood Watch is currently in effect for both Coastal and Inland Manatee County (including Bradenton)through tonight, Thursday, October 8, 2026. A slow-moving frontal boundary combined with deep tropical moisture is bringing widespread showers and scattered thunderstorms to the region, with expected rainfall totals of 1 to 3 inches and isolated amounts exceeding 5 inches.

Furthermore, Tropical Storm Isaias is strengthening in the Gulf of Mexico, which will keep the area wet and windy through the weekend with high rain chances continuing into Saturday.

Additionally, while Manatee County is not in the direct forecast track for Hurricane Isaias, the area is experiencing peripheral rain bands and expects higher-than-normal high tides from Friday evening through Sunday morning, which may trigger minor coastal and low-lying flooding.

If you’re visiting Maine this fall, here’s a coastal road trip you won’t want to miss! 🚗 ⤵️

Start in downtown Portland and visit the Old Port District for great local shopping and dining options.

Then, drive to Kennebunkport for more shopping, art galleries, and bites in Dock Square.

Next stop: Ogunquit! Explore the quaint downtown and don’t pass up a walk on their sandy 3.5 mile beach, which is beautiful and quiet this time of year.
