I always like to share this at least once a year. 💕🐚💜•This is not garbage, nor is it plastic. This is known as a sand collar. Or a egg casing. These collars contain thousands upon thousands of eggs that take about 6 weeks to hatch. Well meaning people who clean the beaches sometimes spot these and mistake for garbage. Many of these end up in the dumpster because of this mistake so I always like making a post. The more people who know the better. 🐚💜. If you ever see one of these washed up , gently place it under the sand in the water , so they can safely hatch. ❤️ My favorite name for these shells are 🙂
