Big news for the Explorer ST platform.

Brian’s 2023 Explorer ST is now officially E85 upgraded and the results speak for themselves. On the dyno, this setup put down 558.64 horsepower and 568.98 lb-ft of torque on our Dynojet.

What makes this combo especially impressive is how complete and refined it is.

This Explorer features:

Xtreme-DI LLC High Pressure Fuel Pump
XDI 60% Injectors
AFE Cold Air Intake
Whipple Superchargers Intercooler
Thermal 2.5” Catback
Palm Beach Dyno custom E85 calibration

One very important detail here: this Explorer is still running stock downpipes and factory cats.

That’s worth pointing out because at this power level, many would expect upgraded downpipes and a more aggressive exhaust combination. Instead, this setup shows just how capable the platform can be with the right fueling, the right supporting parts, and a properly dialed-in calibration.

The dyno graph shows a great overall power curve, with peak torque coming in at 4,510 rpm and peak horsepower at 5,770 rpm. It’s a strong, usable setup that carries power well and makes the truck feel as good on the street as it does on the dyno.

We also configured this Explorer with different boost levels based on drive mode, giving it a very versatile personality depending on how Brian wants to use it. It’s about as close to a perfect street setup as you can get.

That said, we do want to be clear: we do not recommend this power level on a stock transmission. The next step for this Explorer will be an RSA transmission so the drivetrain matches the capability of the engine package.

This is a great example of what the Explorer ST platform is capable of when everything comes together the right way.

Explorer STs have been steady on the dyno lately, and it is a platform we know extremely well.

Palm Beach Dyno was one of the first to really push the Explorer ST platform, and we are still continuing that development today. Upgrade your 2021+ F-150 interior with a clean, OEM-style switch panel designed for custom accessory control. This panel replaces the factory coin holder located above the drive mode selector, giving you a perfect, easy-to-reach location for auxiliary switch control without cutting up your dash.

Each panel is 3D printed from PA12-CF, a carbon-fiber-reinforced nylon material chosen for its strength, heat resistance, and long-term durability in automotive interiors. Unlike basic plastic prints, PA12-CF is built to handle the harsh environment inside a vehicle, including summer heat, vibration, and daily use.

This panel is ideal for custom installs and can be configured for a variety of uses, including boost control activation, intercooler pump switches, 2-step activation, auxiliary lighting, fans, pumps, relays, or other custom accessories.

Fitment Note: This panel replaces the factory coin holder above the drive mode selector. It will not fit trucks equipped with the factory-installed trailer brake controller, as the trailer brake controller occupies this same location in the dash.
