That's awesome!

WE Did It!!! and we aren't even going to make you wait around all day for an update.
We officially surpassed our 100k candy goal.
Here are the rest of the numbers:
105,732 pieces of candy
32 Pre Registered vehicles
Once all registration fees are paid, we'll be cutting a check to Black Hills Badges For Hope for AT LEAST $640, but I'm confident with the weather, we'll have a ton of day of event registrants. We're hoping to beat last years' total of $1500 donation.
So let's boost up those registration numbers!

Those numbers do not include the Rapid City Police Department, Rapid City Fire Department, or the Pennington County Sheriff's Office, whom should all be in attendance as well!

We could NOT have done this without all of you, every little bit counted towards the total and we did it!

C'mon show some support for an awesome event!

Well this is actually an ThrunkOrThreetThursday update, as I got busy on Big changes for our 10/2/25 update:

The biggest news is that Rapid City is on the board with the first official candy drop off at Courtesy Subaru.

Current total is 21,223, so it was a big week this week with the surprise of the gift certificate special that a handful of people took advantage of.

We are about 20,000 pieces behind where we were last year. We had just hit 41k pieces on 10/1/24.

23 days: until our Trunk or Treat event Cars and Candy 5: A Trunk or Treat Event on 10/25/25. That is coming up quick!

-We are up to 10 registered participants to decorate their cars and hand out candy.

*Current business candy crown holder is Guardian Shepherd Service Dogs at 4,600
*Current individual candy crown holder is Diane G from Spearfish at 852.

If you'd like to donate candy, or prefer us to do the shopping, we have several ways to contribute. You can drop off new unopened candy at any of our 3 locations:
