2005 Nissan Armada in for a full audio upgrade and check list of OEM parts to replace. This is one of my premier clients that I have performed three full vehicle upgrades for.

✅ Removed OEM receiver, Bose subwoofer & Fr/Rear Bose speakers.
✅ Installed Sony XAV-AX4000 Wireless Carplay/ AA receiver using vehicle specific Metra harnesses, kits and installation parts to retain steering wheel controls and a factory fit and finish.
✅ Removed cracked outer dash bezel and replaced with new.
✅ Installed flush mount Batige USB-C for wired connectivity or charging.
✅ Installed front/rear Natika cameras with Crux CSS-41 video switcher.
✅ Installed Ground Zero GZTC 165.2X 6.5" components in front/rear doors and tweeter locations.
✅ Applied SoundSkins treatment on inner door skins and speaker adapters along with Recoil Silicone speaker baffle kit.
✅ Installed Kicker Key DSP amp under driver seat.
✅ Installed Kicker CX1200.1 sub amp under passenger seat, fabricated abs amp board and fastened to OEM floor mounts.
✅ Installed Kicker 4ga OFC wiring and fuse mounts to provide customer a 3-yr warranty as an Authorized KICKER Dealer.
✅ Kicker 49DL7TDF122 Dual Down-Firing 12" L7T 2-Ohm Sub Enclosure in rear with 12ga OFC wiring back to sub amp.
✅ Replaced positive/negative battery leads,
✅ Replaced driver side rear glass hinge
✅ Repaired rear hatch latch/handle
✅ Replaced all interior lighting with Auxito LED ambient lighting.
✅Replaced rear bumper/license plate light harness kit, installed LED bulbs.

Update: J H Audio is will be offering sandblasting services this spring. I’m currently finishing my dessicant dryer setup but this Grizzly doesn’t miss a beat. I can blast continuously without any down time. I have aluminum oxide, glass and walnut media on tap for all types of metals.

I’m also looking into bolt restoration services. 😉

I finally completed the second Dodge Charger for the Bowling Green Fire Dept. I worked on these in stages in between the rest of of my work the last few months. ➡2011 Hyundai Genesis Sedan

✅ The Genesis Sedan is one of the few vehicles that don't have aftermarket support except for eBay/Amazon Android radios. I rarely install these because they have a 60% fail rate upon arrival. The client and I discussed all avenues, and I agreed to install product provided. I made sure to advise on ordering one that was already here stateside in case it needed to be returned immediately.

✅ I removed OEM receiver and retrofitted climate controls and vents into new radio bezel with no fitment issues. The radio was full plug n play with exception to power/ground connections I made for rear camera.

✅ I do like to use Natika cameras off Amazon, because they have a great picture and are priced fair. They outperform any name brand camera off Crutchfield by far. Client ordered camera in white which blended perfect with trunk lid and looked OEM.

✅ Since I had to fully remove the rear trunk paneling I washed out 14 years of dirt and grime and applied some wax while I was in there. OCD always kicks in and clients appreciate the extra work and detailed photos of install. Its impossible to remove the outer skin without breaking specific Hyundai clips so client had those ordered for me ready to go.

✅ The 9" screen looks amazing and factory. Wireless CarPlay/ AA is always a nice upgrade!

I finally had time last month to upgrade the audio in my 1991 Nissan Silvia. Listening to the ITB’s is always a plus, but I need tunes for longer cruises next spring and summer.
Alpine was the premium company in nineties JDM cars and still is to this day.

✅ Alpine UTE-73BT Digital Media Receiver for Bluetooth streaming and USB connectivity for FLAC, WMA & MP3 files off a thumb drive. It also has variable color illumination to match the rest of your interior lighting which in my case is green.
✅ Alpine S2-S65C 6.5” component set for the front doors. I installed rivnuts for a solid machine bolt fastening solution for the custom speaker adapters. I also wrapped the metal door grills in a fabric speaker cloth.

✅ Metra IBSBF65 6.5” Silicone Speaker Baffle Kit: perfectly seals the speaker against the interior panel, improves the directional flow of sound waves into the cabin. The egg crate foam absorbs rear waves, prevents front and rear wave cancellation (which causes distortion at high volume playback) and reduces panels vibrations.

✅ www.somethingdifferenteng.com 3-D prints OEM style tweeter pods which replaces the blank sail panel mounts on S13’s with power mirrors. These required a little bit of modification to get the Alpine tweeter to fit only because tweeter is larger than recommended size…nothing I can't manage. 😊

✅ Alpine S2-S65 Coaxial speakers filled in the rear perfectly. I was able to score some mint OEM speaker grills from an EBAY seller in Australia. These are rare to find being most S13's have been sitting in the sun for 34 years and plastics are super brittle.

✅ SoundSkins SSPRO-1 soundproofing material was installed on the interior surfaces of both the doors and the rear deck. This 3-1 combo of acoustic foam, foil & rubber butyl blend of materials reduces panel vibrations, road noise, reduces loss of sound and improves heat rejection.
