KP Customs Automotive and Tire now runs in-house dyno tuning on Scottsville Road, which means the shop that builds it also proves it: superchargers, turbos, cam swaps, built engines, headers, all dialed in and backed by real numbers instead of feelings. 60lb FIC injected
65% ethanol
2” headers

Stock compression
Heads were ported by GPI before BTR had CNC version ready

All this Resulting in what usually we see out of cammed ls7 at the rear wheels! Keep in mind the ls2 is rated at 400 crank horsepower from the factory and this is making over 600 at the crank now!

We brought this 1994 Chevy C1500 back to life—and then some.

The project started with a wrecked but running 2007 Silverado 2500HD, which served as the donor truck. We pulled the 6.0L LS and 4L80E drivetrain, then removed the tired, locked-up 350/4L60E from the ’94 to make room for its new powerplant.

Before installation, the engine received a thorough cleanup and fresh gaskets to ensure it was ready for many more miles.

Since the truck had been sitting for years, it also received a complete axle rebuild, front suspension rebuild, new brakes, and a fresh set of tires to make it as reliable as it is fun to drive.

The end result is a classic C1500 that’s ready to hit the road as a first vehicle for a lucky 16-year-old—with modern LS power and everything functioning just like it should.

We can’t wait to see this truck come back in a few years for a camshaft and gear upgrade to really wake it up!
