There are barn finds and then there are attic finds, and this one goes to the top of my list of favorite attic finds.
Is it worth a lot of money? No. Did it belong to someone famous? No. Then why is it my favorite?
Because in the detail of this vintage pinewood derby car means that while it was being carved, there sat a son looking up to their father in awe watching it being built with love, and that is what makes it priceless.
