Quick weekend job on this lb7. This truck came in with a heavy oil leak which turned out to be from diesel getting into the oil and overfilling the crank case. Tristan & Hunter got it back together with new OEM injectors, injector cups, return lines, seals, and hard lines. While the cabs off we did a motor inspection aswell as a valve lash tune up.

2019 6.7 Cummins with only 102,000 miles and this grid heater was not only completely clogged with soot, but the heater nut failed. The nut on the bottom side circled in red (already broken off this one) over time weakens from heat and vibration. The only place it can go… is right into the cylinder destroying the piston, head, and possibly worse.

If you’re looking to save yourself thousands in motor work, give us a call and schedule an appointment. We always highly recommend going back together with a BANKS Monster ram intake increasing air flow, and eliminating the grid heater nut.

We’ve been nothing but busy for the last couple months so I haven’t had the chance to update with social media. I’ve finally brought on Tristan full time in the shop, so that means turnaround times reduce, and the schedule will open up faster. Big thanks to all my customers who keep me so busy, it’s a good problem to have.

Just wrapping this one up, Truck came in with an extremly bad headgasket. Customer wanted to make sure it’s reliable for the future and get it back on the road. Just some of the many parts in this one
- Fleece performance heads
- Head studs
- Merchant full engine gasket kit (reseal)
- Fass 165 lift pump
- Powersteering pump, lines, cooler
- Sinister trans brace
- All small parts like glow plugs, belt, rubber hoses, etc
- High micron cp4 metering valve
- Cleaned and oiled the top side of the frame
- Manifolds and up pipes
- Tow mirrors, Tint, and much much more

This was a good project, f550 dump body came in with no lights working, chopped up wiring and a list of other things needing attention
- custom tail light harness made in house
- egr replacement
- ccv replacement
- all new LED lights front to rear
- window tint
- coolant leaks in multiple spots
- new trailer plug wired into the new tail light harness
- dual function strobe/flood pods

6.0 in for a crank no start. After a quick scan, and high pressure oil leak down test found stand pipe o-rings blown. New stand pipes, dummy plugs, glow plugs and a couple small leaks fixed and it’s back on the road starting faster than ever. Thank you Cameron for the business!

I’m officially full time Mon-Fri on diesel/automotive repair and performance as well as tint.
