The original Gen 1 small block Chevy engine set the bar high for performance V8 engines for over a half century. It was a design that dominated most motorsports and saw minimal changes in it's 47 years on the production line. It seemed that the time proven standard was never going to change. In the early 90s GM introduced the Gen 2 small block known as the LT1. By most standards the Gen 2 engines
were a lackluster attempt to show change while trying to maintain a tie to the old standard. It seems that they tried to improve on what they had instead of thinking outside the box to come up with something entirely new and better, but they've finally done it! GM finally took a fresh approach the their engine design and outdid themselves in the process. The have evolved into a smooth running, fuel efficient engine that runs smoother than ever with more power per cubic inch. These engines have become the new go-to engine for everything from daily drivers and hot rods to off road trucks, race cars and even marine applications. This new breed of engine is referred to as the LS engine and is commonly designated the term LSx where X is the multitude of variables/options available. As with anything new the idea of an LS swap can seem intimidating and that's where we come in. We take the guess work out of wiring the engine by converting the OEM engine harness to an easy to work with Stand Alone harness or we can custom build your new harness from scratch. Out primary focus is on building GM Gen 3 car and truck Stand Alone harnesses, but we can also do Gen 4 and Gen 5 harness builds as well. Our team looks forward to working with you to develop the perfect harness for your next project. Let us show you how EZ it really is!
