With wildfire smoke settling over the Midwest, protecting yourself while on the road starts with a button you might not use often. Recirculation mode is your car’s first line of defense - look for the curved-arrow-in-a-car icon on your dash.

Turning recirculation mode on is step one. Step two is making sure your cabin filter can actually keep up - that’s what stands between you and the smoke outside.

Conditions like these don’t give your filter a break. If yours hasn’t been swapped in a while, now’s a good time. Stop in to your nearest Belle Tire and we’ll check it for you.
