Ford 3.5L EcoBoost cam phaser failure caught on video.

In this clip, our technician checks the phasers by hand. The left-side phasers feel controlled, but the right-side intake phaser has way too much movement.

Cam phaser problems are common on these engines and can cause startup rattle, timing codes, check engine lights, poor performance, and drivability issues.

At Ridgeline Automotive, we have the proper tools, equipment, and experience to diagnose and repair these engines the right way.
