Borger’s original “Mom and Pop” auto service and repair shop officially announces their Grand Reopening! New owners Jesse and Tiffany Thomas continue the legacy of Steve and Ann Stanford at Borger’s S*M Automotive while simultaneously celebrating the 50th Anniversary of this locally operated and owned garage. Along with Shop Foreman James Leven and Mechanic Micah McKinnis, the new owners are thrilled to continue to serve the community. First established in 1974 by husband and wife Larry and Pat Shaffer, and later purchased by the Stanfords, “We are proud to have the opportunity to carry on decades of hard work and commitment to quality and look forward to the next 50 years in Borger,” owner and operator Jesse Thomas states. Located at 808 Weatherly, the husband and wife duo strive to preserve this garage’s down-home roots while also upgrading to state-of-the-art equipment. The next phase of S*M will be sustaining current customer needs while also accommodating the next generation of vehicles and customers. “Keeping up with local demands and supporting our surrounding communities is key,” Thomas adds. Being this shop’s third generation of owners, the Thomases are proud of their talented staff and thank their customers for making this transition possible.
