It’s with a lot of thought and consideration, that I’ve have decided to close Performance Rod & Custom. After 26 years of building PRC products from our home garage, to a small building in town, to our current building, I feel it’s time to end this chapter of my life. As many of you know, we have been struggling for the past several years to get aftermarket cores from our domestic suppliers as their focus is on large OEM accounts. Because of quality concerns we have chosen not to look overseas for core suppliers.

As some of you may know, my high school sweetheart and wife of nearly 46 years needs a fulltime caregiver. I have been that caregiver for the past two years and I plan on continuing to make her my number one priority.

I am incredibly grateful to those who have been with us since the beginning. We’ve seen a lot of change in the hot rod and racing world over the past 20+ years. To our customers- without you there never would have been PRC. Many of us have spent more time together at car shows or races over the years, then we have with our own families.

To our employees, past and present… thank you for your dedication, hard work and your loyalty. Whether you were with us 20 years ago or currently employed with us, you helped build the best product around!

As I step into this next chapter of life, I do it knowing that we put out the best quality product available. I’m proud of what PRC has been able to accomplish over the past 20+ years. Thank you again for trusting PRC with your cooling needs.
