Matt Nimey GMC Family-owned and operated. Passionate about community, family, and exceptional customer care. In 1962, the Lee’s began selling the Buick and GMC makes.

The Lee family entered the Automobile business in 1953, when Gus and Alice Lee purchased the Pontiac dealer from Higby Motors. Dick Lee joined the family business in 1954 with Gladys joining in the late 1970’s. The original location on Main Street, now currently home to Napa Auto Parts, became too small for three franchises and the current location on Erwin Parkway was purchased in 1965. As the bu

siness grew, the need for additional space grew and a new showroom (currently on the north end of the building) along with new offices were constructed in 1989. In 2009, General Motors announced that Pontiac would cease production of all vehicles and the brand would be shuttered. The long standing Lee Pontiac name became Lee Buick GMC Trucks. Most recently, a large renovation was completed on the exterior and interior of the building as part of the General Motors Facility Image Program to allow the dealership to match the style and luxury of the products we sell. The third generation of Lee’s own and operate the facility, with Rick, Randy and Mike in the Sales Department, Robert and Rodney in the Service Department, and 18 employees filling in the needs of the dealership.
