Mayes Speed Shop Mayes Speed Shop is an auto repair shop located in Boonville NC. JR, shop owner has over 25 years experience on all makes and models. We hope to see you soon.

After 4 long years and many sleepless nights, Mayes Auto Service is back in business, but now it will be known as Mayes Speed Shop. We will have the same great service that you grew to love but with one thing changed, JR will take head of the shop. TJ has decided to stay in retirement after suffering a heart attack in July 2017 but insists on being out in the shop as much as his health will allow

him. Along with auto repair, we will continue to offer damage- free towing to our shop and others. We aim to provide you with the upmost service. Thank you for your many years of support.

Happy 2nd Anniversary to the one who makes me.. makes me get up, makes me go to work, makes me take my medicine twice a day, makes me eat when I don't wanna. She never lets me get low on Cheerwine. She sleeps right beside me whether I'm sick or not and she never complains about when things get tough. She absolutely completes me. Thank God for the woman you are and the love you've given me. I love you most, I win.

Vehicle was hauled in for a no start. It's safe to say this one's starter had seen better days. After removing it, it was super easy to see why it wouldn't start. The small stem broke while removing it, but the failure came from the starter drive. Thanks Dale for your business.

I hope everyone is staying cool, I mean warm, I mean dry, I mean... who am I kidding? This is NC. Our weather has been nuts lately. I just wanted to jump on and thank everyone that's brought us work the past few days, except this guy.. lol. All this for a burned valve. Hopefully since I picked the head up today, it won't be too long til it's running again.

I told someone the other day that we do a little bit of everything. Well, I guess we can add professional tree removal to the list. (And the power lines were nowhere close.
