Sorry its been so quiet but we've been busy trying to get the modlite done in time for super nationals. Hoping to have it done a couple weeks before so we can shake it down and get comfortable in it . In the mean time been working on some merch. Pretty excited about finally having something out there to help stir up some more interest.

After my trip down memory lane I dug up some of the old pics off my photo bucket to show just how much different the cars we ran were. I ran what was called an econo stock. Your basic bomber type car. Couldn't have the frame x'd or engine bar bars besides the one in front of the radiator. But this will show how we would just lop the back of a donor car off and transplant it on to the chassis and redo the rear kicker bars

Going back to my roots. This is where I started, by gutting cars and doing interior work on hobby stocks at Dixon racing enterprises in 1987. The cars are so much different now i think thats might be why I enjoy doing the crown vics and sport compacts it reminds me of those days

Another one in the books. Customer brought an allstar cage kit and wanted a few custom add-ons. Been having some issues with neck shoulder and arm pain so going to take a break before I work on getting the modlite finished so may be a while before I get it out on the track

Here we go again installing a all star cage kit on this one. Really wish these promoters that are writing the rules for this class cared more for the safety of the driver then just getting their pit pass. These things are a fire hazzard with all the crap they require to stay in plus for some reason they think mounting a battery right behind the seat is better then putting it in the trunk or on the engine side of the fire wall where the ac used to be. but like Forest's mom said " stupid is as stupid does.

Been busy making changes to the mod lite to make it more fat guy friendly and change a few other things I wanted to modify. Moved radiator to the nose, new fuel cell , moved mounting point of rr shock, added new mounts for the belts, added power steering and a quickener and did a whole new interior. Slowly but surely coming along

Big upgrades for the modlite . New power steering , steering quickener and batwing chassis throttle setup. Time to start on a new interior layout next week

As promised big announcement for the 17j in 2026 season. We are going mod lite racing at Boone and marshalltown. Looking forward to getting this on the track in a couple weeks in marshalltown for the harvest hustle. My only issue right now is I need a seat so if anybody has a 17 in full containment 20 deg seat for sale or trade for the one in pics let me know

Photo dump time. Sorry its been so quiet this summer but been alot going on. Pics from start to finish of the first Blackhawk Crown vic that will be raced at Sportspark raceway . Took a lot of hours but very happy with the way it turned out. Last time I took on a project like this was my own econo stock back in 2003. Needless to say I'm not as fast and limber at 50 as I was back then. Stay tuned this weekend for a pending announcement for what 26 will hold for the 17j. Thanks for following
