COSTUMES, CANDY & RACE CARS! 🎃🏁

Make plans for HALLOWEEN HAVOC IN BOONE on Saturday, October 24 at Fairgrounds Raceway!

Bring the kids in their Halloween costumes and don’t forget their candy bags! During intermission, TRICK-OR-TREAT ON THE TRACK puts your family right in the middle of the fun:

🍬 Collect candy from the race teams!
✍️ Get autographs from the drivers!
📸 Take photos with the drivers and see their race cars up close!

Then cheer them on as they battle it out on our quarter-mile dirt track! It’s a chance for the kids to meet a driver, pick a favorite, and have someone to pull for when the racing resumes.

Want to race Halloween Havoc in Boone on Saturday, October 24? GET REGISTERED!

We intend to have these core divisions on the Fairgrounds Raceway schedule:

• NE Fuels Late Models
• H**p & Barrel Thunder Bombers
• Front Wheel Drives
• Crown Vics
• NextGen

We’re also open to adding Renegades, 602 Modifieds, Chicks in Vics and Pro4s depending on the number of confirmed pre-entries received!

SEVEN confirmed pre-entries will secure your division’s spot. Sponsorship can help lower that minimum while adding money to the purse!

If you plan to race, fill out the entry form, submit your car photo, and encourage your fellow racers to get registered. Only legitimate entries with a car photo will count toward the confirmed total.

DRIVERS: REGISTRATION IS OPEN FOR HALLOWEEN HAVOC IN BOONE! 🎃

We’re racing October 24 at Fairgrounds Raceway, and your pre-entries will help determine which divisions make the show!

We have NINE divisions listed. We expect to run six or seven unless all nine reach the required minimum of SEVEN confirmed pre-entries:

• NE Fuels Late Models — East Lincoln Rules
• Open Wheel Modifieds
• Renegade Sportsman
• Thunder Bombers — Bring Your Track/Series Rules
• Front Wheel Drives
• Pro4 — East Lincoln Rules
• Crown Vics — Harris Rules
• Chicks in Vics
• NextGen

Here’s what we mean by CONFIRMED entries: this is an online form, and anybody can fill it out. We need real racers who genuinely plan to come. Fake submissions or entries sent simply to pad a division’s count will not count toward the minimum.

Submit your car photo with your entry. Entries without a photo, or entries we have reason to believe aren’t from someone legitimately planning to race, will NOT be added to the confirmed list. We’ll promote confirmed drivers using the photos submitted!

All divisions will receive their regular payouts unless sponsorship money is added. NE Fuels has already boosted the Late Model purse to AT LEAST $700 TO WIN!

Every division is available for sponsorship to add money to its purse. Sponsorship can also help lower the number of confirmed pre-entries needed to secure a division’s spot on the schedule.

Saturday, October 24th, the Late Models hit the dirt at Fairgrounds Raceway with $700 to win—and we’re working to grow that payday!

The Late Model race will run under East Lincoln Late Model rules, which are now posted on our website. Drivers, please review them as you get ready to race.

I want to thank everyone who came out to Fairgrounds Raceway this past weekend — the racers, fans, crews, staff, volunteers, and everyone who helped us raise money for Laci Ward. Even with a smaller crowd and car count than we hoped for, we were able to do something good for Laci and her family. I’m grateful to every person who had a hand in that.

I also want to be honest: the turnout was discouraging. We put a lot into these races, and we hoped more people would come be part of this one. That doesn’t take anything away from the people who DID show up. You gave us a race, supported a family, and reminded us why we wanted to do this in Boone in the first place.

Now we’re looking toward Halloween Havoc on Saturday, October 24. That race will help us decide what 2027 looks like — whether I return to promote, how many dates make sense, and which divisions we put on the schedule. Those decisions will come from what we learn on race day, including which racers and fans come out to support it.

I know we can’t offer the biggest purses or promise the biggest fields. But if you’ve watched a race on this little track, you know it doesn’t take 25 cars to put on a show. The size of the place puts the racing right in front of you, and a good field can make for one heck of a night.

If you want to see us continue building on what we’ve started over these last two races, come spend October 24 with us. Bring a friend who hasn’t seen the place yet. Racers, bring your cars and show us which divisions want a place in 2027.

Let’s make Halloween Havoc our biggest race yet.
