10/24 Diamond Park Speedway if they have the modified race.. If not, KMS Speedway!!
10/31 KMS Speedway for the last race of the year
Turkey nationals at Diamond Park Speedway will end our year for the 26 season..
This has been a hard season.. I have only burned 1 complete drum of fuel this year.. normally, I burn 3+.
This is the least I have raced since I started.. From a class that didn't work out, building a new car, changing classes, and just general worn out feeling, I have missed several races this year.. The politics of racing really get in the way of getting to do what I love. KMS Speedway always recharges my racing sprit and I am forever grateful!! I wish all tracks had the love of this sport that they do! Most drivers don't race for the money, but race for the joy and comradery that this sport should be bringing to drivers and fans every night!
That pattern ends now!! I am refueled for racing and it is forever a part of my sprit!! I hope everyone that we know comes to these 2 tracks that I love so much and show the owners that they matter and are doing a service to the fans, drivers, and the community as well!!

Took the new 3M car to Diamond Park Speedway. started the heat in 4th.. drove to 2nd.. Started the feature in 2nd and finished 2nd.. The new car is starting to feel good but it's has a lot of room for improvement. No pics yet due to no track photographers but soon maybe.. The car has finished 3 features in 1st 2nd 2nd.. not too bad..

We will be at KMS Speedway this coming Saturday for their last points night!! It's time to throw dirt on the smoothest racing surface with folks that are like family!!! Been too long..

The 3m car survived its break in night at Kms speedway last week! This week is Diamond Park and then 2 weeks off to let this heat pass and to move then back to KMS!!

Took the new 3M car to Diamond Park Speedway for a shake down.. Well, if it could go wrong, it did.. LOL Went out for hot laps, hit the gas and the car died.. Got a push back to the pits, found no spark so looked around and found 2 wires that had fallen out of their connector.. This had caused the engine to die but had also caused 2 teeth to break on the flywheel when starting due to kick back.. Fixed the wires and went out for the heat race.. Had 0 engine but finished the race. Back in the pits, found #7 wire had come off and thought that was it!! Started the engine to pull into line up and noticed it was running rough and fire out of the header.. We did not make the call for the feature but I needed to know what happened. I happened to push on a wire on the distributor and it moved freely.. Well good, I guess this is why I hate chevy HEI.. I am used to msd/real distributors and I really hate these damn hei pos distributors.. I don't know why we can't have msd boxes and real distributors but we can't so I am just going to have to keep a spare or 5 in the trailer.. Took the car out for the super stock race just to see if I had indeed fixed the running issue and she came alive.. I had fouled the plugs in the heat but it was cleaning out and running well.. All in all, if it could go wrong, it did.. This car feels like I can make something out of it if I can keep my firing system going!! Next stop is KMS Speedway for the vintage race car race!! Thanks to Diamond Park Speedway for letting me make laps in a race I was not a part of.. Very above and beyond!
