This year we had the honor to award two Kramer Williamson Sportsmanship Awards for the impact that these racers have had on our RC hobby. Congratulations to David Johns and Kevin Markle (OverDrive R/C). Their long tenure in the hobby and their commitment and actions to making the RC dirt oval a great hobby is tremendous and both are truly deserving of this award. Congratulations to our 2026 Track Champions and top 3 finishers in our Points Series. We had another great year of racing at the track. We thank everyone for their support and continuing to make this hobby so much fun. Over 36 years so many of you have become like family. And like family, we do have our squabbles but in the end we all have a passion for RC dirt oval racing. To have a quality facility like Staub Brothers' RC Speedway, it takes a committed staff, a supportive family and a group of competitive and dedicated people who are always willing to help each other become better racers. We will continue to find ways to improve our program and facility for the 2027 season. Thank you all for allowing me to do what I love to do.

We have been discussing proposed rule changes for next season the past few weeks at the track with our racers. The proposed rule changes for 2027 have been posted on our website.

Wow! We were surprised and honored to provide our facility and race program to so many racers tonight but it was Drivers' Appreciation Weekend (106 entries). 🙂 A special shout out to the racers from the Old Mill RC Raceway. It was great to have our loose dirt friends give our track a try. We appreciate your compliments and kind words. We hope to return the favor and visit your track in October. The RC hobby is thriving because we have good people and top-notch tracks in PA. In the end we were able to get in all the races expect the 17.5 Sprint A-main. Unfortunately, the rain took out the last race of the night. Congratulations to our podium finishers tonight. The competition was tough and not always nice tonight.

Congratulations to Todd Little for earning this weekend's Happy Racer Award for your positive attitude and personality at the track. Emily is spreading good sportsmanship by recognizing racers doing good things at local tracks where ever she races each week.

Nice field of RC cars today at Staub Brothers for the Drivers’ Appreciation Race. We welcome racers from the Old Mill RC Raceway and our regular racers. Thank you for supporting us this season. Plans are already in the works for the 2027 season.

We will be opening up the tire rule in Midget Sprints for the last two weeks of racing the 2026 season to include the new BSR foam tires on the hex wheel. We have the tires discounted in our hobby shop for our Midget racers to try out.

Race Day Time Change
For the last two races of the season, we plan to start the 1st round of qualifying at 4:00 instead of 4:30.
