80 GMC, back together and gone now. Brackets all painted, electronic fuel injection, crash interrupt switch installed, electric fan, serpentine belt drive, updated fuse/relays for all accessories, LED lighting, Bluetooth hand free stereo, efficient aftermarket A/C, posi-trac and 4 wheel disc along with original color paint with updated pearl to turn bright silver in the sun. Yes, customer has some really wide tires to fill in those back fenders, it’ll make some really nice black marks also. Thanks to my customers for letting me build such nice rides.

80 GMC again, getting all those brackets in place so a/c and heaters hoses aren’t just bouncing around. I hand build virtually every bracket and brace so if ya’s just showing your friends or at a car show, people and judges will take notice. So many times at car shows, guys/girls will raise their car hoods just to show off the small fortune spend on dozens on ZIP-TIES

Been awhile but still working on customers projects, collision/insurance is keeping Classic very busy and growing. This is the silver 80 GMC, installing modern serpentine belt drive with updated alternator/steering pump and new aftermarket A/C system. Since older engines lack mounting bolt holes, brackets have to be made. Coming along nicely.

A look at 80 square body, few picks day and finish photos coming soon. This had CB antenna in roof which in the 70s/80s vehicles had plenty of holes drilled for those antennas. This one shows what happens years later, lots of rust holes from water dripping into interior panel. Getting it painted and back together.

Wow, been awhile since last post and my customers keep reminding me about it. Here are some recent photos of a truck I did few years back. Customer took it to Festus Main Street car show which was packed out with some very nice vehicles. They took first place for the truck class. Told them, I’ll make them famous, the Sullivans and their truck that was used to haul wood for decades before they retired it and got a makeover at Classic.

American muscle, 70 Chevelle finally done and gone. After a few other shops did outer bodywork and paint, which wasn’t the best. Getting new metal welded in rusted out floor and trunk areas and getting body lines to match up after being painted sure wasn’t easy. Changed from bench seat to buckets and center console with all interior done here, sure upgrades appearance and value. This vehicle arrived in boxes and small parts missing. Since these restorations are costly, Make sure the Body Shop you pick cares about the ends results. A lot of extra parts and labor went into getting this one back together. Hope customer is well satisfied because everyone deserves a Classic.

Been awhile, just busy working on other cool Classics. Here’s a 70 Chevelle that came through shop, already had bodywork and paint done. Pulling dash was a must for a nice ride, considering dash had massive amounts of paint overspray on it.

59 El Camino finished up for Classic’s part, getting some really nice body lines all to line up for no flaws was somewhat difficult, back then technology wasn’t what it is today in car building. Fantastic color blue and the white has blue pearl in it, turns slightly blue tint where ever sun shining on it. One sweet ride, everyone deserves a Classic. Some of the items it has, 383 stroker/350 trans, electronic track wipers, remote start, keyless locks, remote door opener, remote stereo play, gray shaded glass, etc so much more. Customer should have done early next year.

Having that glass all scarred up sure makes a difference in the rest of the vehicle, whether and old Classic or your everyday vehicle. Mishaps, bad weather strips or worn out wiper blades, bring back a clear glass at less then replacing it.
