After a thorough inspection i decided ill wet sand this hood to chase as many defects as i could from this panel. This hood was repainted at some point and they left a lot of defects and more in the finish. Here I removed most of the blemishes and restored the surface to a flat high gloss shine. When you get a car that has heavy defects you have to know what you’re getting yourself Into. A lot of times on corrections this severe you will need to use varying levels of correction to get a consistent result across the entire vehicle. While most of the vehicle has OEM paint and will correct like normal the hood was repainted and there’s many sanding marks. This is some of the damage we will be working to remove or improve upon. Oh man… it’s been a while since I’ve had fun during a correction. Most of the time we get newer cars that don’t require the level of correction something with this much age does. I’m putting the new FX3311 and my goodness now this is what cordless polishing should be. The battery life is fantastic and the torque is amazing. Using the foamed wool and A50 to correct this 1988 Sterling 825SL!!

The dealer really tried to push their “Coating” (but secretly a warranty and a spray wax) onto the client. He was quite stern in his resolve to have it coated here at ADS. When he arrived he said “you came highly recommended” say no more. Made sure this unit was properly coated inside and out. Full suite of Paint, Leather, Glass and Trim Coatings.

Before each of our paint protection film installations we prep the paint and deep clean every crevice in an attempt to prevent and minimize any contamination making its way out during an installation. This 2019 Corvette ZR1 is no different with 9000 miles on the clock she’s had a little time on the road before making it in and while super clean we have to make sure she’s clean before the next steps of installation can begin.

We will be installing STEK Premium Paint Protection Film to the full exterior of this C7! Wise investment for such a precious piece of automotive history! Who knows how many more miles she will see after but it will for sure be protected in the best way.

It’s out the door!!! This before and after should speak volumes about getting what you pay for. While I understand a proper ceramic coating installed by a capable professional tends to be a pricey spend. Paying for it multiple times because the wrong option couldn’t deliver the experience and expectations hurts more.

After one of our clients had a fender bender their insurance covered the Ceramic Coating we installed on the vehicle and we received the vehicle and completed the full process once again to ensure the vehicle is properly protected after a trip to the body shop. With a premium 5+ Year Ceramic Coating installed and our Ceramic Maintenance Package for the year this vehicle will remain in excellent condition for years to come.
