Automotive Diagnostic & Programming Technician

Job Description:
GRS specializes in the repair and programming of automotive modules such as, instrument clusters, body control modules, engine and transmission computers. We provide on-site mobile service to auto shops throughout the Treasure Valley area. We're expanding and hiring a tech-driven, detail-oriented Automotive Technician in a fast-paced environment to join our team!
What You’ll Do:
>Program electronic modules using diagnostic laptops
>Use scan tools and software to diagnose and program vehicles
>Remove/install automotive instrument clusters on-site
>Test, repair, and calibrate printed circuit boards
>Provide top-tier customer service and support
>Manage your time efficiently and work independently
>Communicate with shops and clients with professionalism

Who We’re Looking For:
>Strong work ethic and attention to detail
>Mechanically and technically inclined with strong problem-solving ability
>Proficient with computers and able to quickly learn new software, tools, and systems.
>Self-starter who proactively supports workflow by staying 1-step ahead of the task.
>Willing to learn the trade and grow into a highly skilled technician
>Prior experience in automotive or electronics
>Friendly, respectful, and customer-focused attitude
Requirements:
>Clean driving record
>Ability to pass a background check
>Comfortable removing/installing dashboards with care
>Some familiarity with electronic theory, scan tools, or PC diagnostics a plus
>High School Diploma or Equivalent
>1 year experience
