A vehicle history report can help you understand reported accidents, ownership history, mileage and other events.

A pre-purchase inspection looks at the vehicle’s current condition, including things a history report may never reveal: leaks, worn brakes, suspension issues, tire wear, warning codes, drivability concerns and more.

Here’s a hybrid component many drivers don’t think about: the inverter coolant pump.

Hybrid vehicles have a dedicated cooling system for the inverter, and when that pump starts to fail, the problem can sometimes be surprisingly quiet at first.

As the system overheats, you may eventually see warning messages, reduced power, or other hybrid-system symptoms.

If your temperature gauge starts climbing while you’re sitting in traffic, but drops back to normal once you’re moving, there may be more going on than just a hot day.

At highway speeds, natural airflow helps cool the radiator. In stop-and-go traffic, your vehicle relies much more heavily on its cooling fans and related systems.

A failing fan, restricted airflow, or sensor issue can cause overheating at idle even when everything seems fine at speed.

Don’t wait for a small temperature spike to become an expensive engine problem.
