Winnie update - This roof is sealed!!

Thanks to Russ and my son CJ we were able to get the new bathroom vent installed and the seal replaced on the AC unit. Now we don't have to have the tarp on it because the roof is completely sealed from the weather. This is a huge step before someone can use it.

We had the opportunity to work on this little gem of a camper over the weekend its a 2016 Kodiak Express Ultra Lite - 246BHLS.

Exterior Repairs & Sealing:
Repaired delamination on the front cap and passenger-side front panel.
Repaired and resealed the front passenger-side seam.
Resealed the small window on the front passenger side.
Cleaned and resealed the front roof cap to fix cracking and seal failure.
Resealed cracks over the service covers and skylights.

Detailing:
Washed, cleaned, and spray-waxed the exterior.
Deep cleaned and detailed the camper interior.

This thing is ready to hit the road for some fun in the mountains and yes, it will be for sale. Ill post an update once I know more from the owner.

I had a little bit of time to work on Winnie this weekend and was able to get the ceiling patch finished and ready for paint. I have now officially turned Winnie over to our interior design person for modernization and color. Erin has started working on fixing and painting the cabinets.

The last few weeks I've been working on a solar upgrade project for our camper. This upgrade project is a all-in-one fully managed hybrid charger controller. Upgrading to a 24 volt battery system and a 40 volt solar. So far things are working great. This will be the same setup we'll be recommending to any customers who are wanting a affordable solar system for their RV.

I am doing a proof of concept upgrade on my camper to show a customer how things will work when we upgrade his camper. The green box on the right will replace all three boxes on the left for our solar devices in the camper. I love solar technology for RVing.

We had a great time this weekend working on our 1996 Winnie project. Russ and I were able to reinstall the big front window that we repaired. Erin started painting the inside and we got one of the new vent fans installed. I was able to build the cab over bed frame and take the air conditioner apart and unmounted from the roof. Now our first camping trip is coming up so Winnie will be put away until we get back.
