I have had a lot of people in the industry tell me they have never seen this so I figured I would post it. This truck would misfire when it warmed up, and stall under hard throttle. However when cold it would fire and run with a “slight” misfire. It passed an electrical injector self test every time.

We diagnosed the issue, informed and even educated the customer how to do a few things differently next time he works on it him self. This customer was happy to hang out in the shop with us and learn about diagnosing his truck and repairing the issue. Happy customer!!

If your truck is misfiring, maybe get it fixed before it goes catastrophic. Don’t ignore the warning signs, it can get costly fast, the tip always cost you a paycheck in the end…
