More shots of South County Fire's Medium Rescue.

Built on a Freightliner Trucks M2 106 Plus chassis, this truck is made to handle the pace and terrain of south Snohomish County day in and day out. H.O. Bostrom seating keeps the crew secure between stations and scenes, while the Carefree Freedom awning provides shelter and workspace when conditions turn or a response stretches long.

The Amdor Inc. rollup doors are the real workhorse of this build — full access to organized compartment storage means crews can find and grab equipment fast, without digging through gear to get to what they need. Whelen Engineering Company, Inc. lights and siren finish the package, keeping the truck visible and cutting through traffic on the way to a scene.

CAL FIRE crews have one more way to get to the fireline safely.

17 rear seats, A/C, room for every piece of gear a crew carries — the kind of upgrades that don't make headlines but make a difference after twelve hours on a line. This carrier replaces older equipment with something built specifically for the job: getting people there safe, and getting them there in shape to work once they arrive.

Gig Harbor Fire & Medic One is adding two new Model 34 Summits to the squad.

The department covers a landscape that shifts fast — steep, timbered hillsides rolling down to the shoreline of Puget Sound, with waterfront neighborhoods and wildland terrain often just minutes apart. That range demands equipment that can move between both without hesitation.

Built to meet it, these units bring all the capability of a Type 3 platform, plus a 1500 GPM Waterous main pump and an additional auxiliary pump — giving them the firefighting power to handle the Sound in every direction it comes from.

Nederland sits at 8,235 feet, where dense lodgepole and ponderosa forest presses right up against neighborhoods carved into the mountainside. It's classic wildland-urban interface — narrow roads, steep grades, and homes tucked into terrain that gives fire every advantage if crews can't get there first.

Their new 750-gallon WUI Sabertooth is built for exactly that fight. Compact enough to navigate tight mountain access roads, tough enough to hold its own on steep, unforgiving grades, it gives Nederland Fire Protection District a rig that can move fast and stay capable when the forest and the neighborhood meet.

Built for the terrain. Ready for the interface.

The landscape in Fremont County, WY asks a lot of the trucks that work it — high desert terrain, long stretches between water sources, and the kind of rugged ground that doesn't forgive weak equipment.

Built to handle both sides of the job, this Type 3 Targhee gives Fremont County FPD a rig equally at home working structure calls in town or pushing into the backcountry after wildland fire. It's engineered for reliability in tough terrain, giving crews the versatility to move between urban and wildland response without missing a step.

Back on a Peterbilt, and built for the Pacific Northwest.

Heading to South Pierce Fire and Rescue in Washington, this 2K Tahoe Water Tender pairs a Peterbilt Motors Company 548 chassis with a Waterous CXSC22D 1000 GPM midship pump and a 2000-gallon UPF tank—giving the department the water capacity and pumping capability to handle everything from structure protection to extended operations in the field.

With steep terrain, dense forests, rural roads, and a mix of residential and wildland response areas, South Pierce needs an apparatus that can move water and keep moving. Whelen Engineering Company, Inc. lighting and sirens complete the build.

A classic platform, configured for the demands WA. Delivered in partnership with Hughes Fire Equipment, Inc
