If you’re one of our customers be prepared to see videos like this along the way when you come to us for any type of work we do. Something new we’ve started that allows us to show / explain exactly what we see or what the issue is to the customer much better than just a phone call. If I see an issue or something out of the norm I’ll most likely send you a video if you’re not familiar with how these machines work. That way it’s easier for you to see and understand. No more uh huh’s that aren’t understood and oh thats not what I thought that part was 😂

This client came to us with🥇goal, make 400 whp at elevation on a 46mm turbo! We gladly accepted the challenge and began the process. We happen to know a thing or two about big HP 46mm X3’s 😉.

First things first we called up our boys over at and gave them a rather large parts list to fulfill. Engine was built in house utilizing their tried and true parts; closed deck-fire ringed, big pin rods, mid compression piston, V3 head, 👻 plenum. Engine management is none other than a Motec M130 with of course on the keys for the majority with us adding the final touches. Turbo setup is one of our spec’d ’s from . Wrangling all those llamas is a rage 4 on a floated DSS secondary.

We made it to 315 whp at 30lbs before the existing “rising rate” system was pretty much done, on 2600’s. Pump could be getting weak, not sure. Now time for the full regulated return style, big pump system and turn it up! This time with a proper rising rate system.

Getting closer every day! Currently tuning the MoTeC flex fuel setup with Mr. Whalen, not bad for 91. This build is next level! it’s gonna be wild once it’s finished. Can’t wait to see it rip!
