Toys for Tots did an early pickup this year… We had more toys earlier than normal which is awesome! They will be back first couple days of December to pick it all up.. November 1st is right around the corner! That’s when the oil change promo starts… 🎅🏻

King's Tire Bluewell coming through for us again this year! This was our first pick up and we actually left toys because I picked the wrong U Haul. Thank you to this group, they are MVP’s for our campaign. When we come back in November, I’ll bring the big truck 😁

I plan on spending the next few days relaxing and shopping. I’m going to find a Halloween store and go all out on some decorations… Star 95 is handling the costume contest so listen up for details. We will be sure to throw a prize in there for the little ones 🎃..

We greatly appreciate the amount of community support we are getting from this. Our customers that are willing to come out and donate their time to help us hand out candy..

The local businesses that have donated so far and the ones that are coming to spend the day with us means a lot to us..

🎨❤️ Well… y’all showed up.

A few days ago, we told you we were trying to put 100 Halloween art kits crafted by HayDay & Handmade into the hands of 100 local kids at the Bluefield Halloween Festival.

At the time, we had raised $75.

Today?

$475 has now been donated or pledged. 😭❤️

And I need to sit with that for a second.

These aren't giant grants. This is neighbors donating. Local businesses saying yes. Community organizations being asked to jump in. People sharing the post. A local maker willing to work with us to make this happen.

This is exactly what the Hub is supposed to be.
Not one organization doing everything.
Just a whole bunch of people doing something.
And suddenly, something pretty cool starts happening. ❤️

We're still working toward those 100 kits, and we're not quite finished yet — so if you've been thinking about throwing $5, $10, $25 or whatever you can toward it, you can still jump in:

On to the next… While we are preparing for our first annual trunk or treat and street fair we are always working on Toys for Tots… November is right around the corner. You know what that means here in Bluewell.. Toys and oil changes… If you’re getting close and it can wait a couple of weeks keep this in mind..

We couldn’t do what we do without you. We have 3 tables, 2 shelves, and 8 of the toys for tots boxes full of toys. That’s not including the 6 bicycles and scooters and big wheels stashed under the tables.

It takes a village and we are proud to be part of this one 💙

October 1st is Thursday… We get phone calls a week before Christmas asking for toys after they are all gone. Please share this. Shout it from the mountain tops.. If you know someone who needs help that doesn’t have a computer send them to us. We will help them sign up..
