This Veteran's Day Certified Transmission would like to thank all military members, past and present, for their service.

It is now officially summer as of today! Happy Summer, everyone! The hot days are here, so it's time to mindful of what time of day you drive and how you drive. Transmissions do not like high heat, so try not to drive in the hottest part of the day. Make sure you watch how you accelerate so you are not making your transmission work too hard. We can help diagnose if you start to smell burning fluid, or hear grinding or clunking this summer season, to determine if it's transmission issues or engine related. Quick story: A customer had come in for a transmission service. Certified does a full drivetrain and transmission evaluation with every vehicle that comes in. She said she had been meaning to get this done for a while, after owning the car for a year, she didn't know when it was serviced last, and she knows that really hot weather could cause any transmission issues to get worse. The diagnostician performed our certi-care evaluation and afterwards told her the transmission looked really great and she need not worry. The service was done and she was back on the road.
