Check out the race start from the 2026 National Auto Sport Association Nationals at Sebring International Raceway last Saturday in the Saturday GT (Grand Touring) qualifying race start. Starting P2, next to a GT3 spec Lamborghini.

After taking the lead at the start of the race, we had electrical issues forcing us to not be able to finish this race and also the championship races.

A 2017 Mustang GT is already a good starting point. Add a Whipple, and the whole personality of the car changes.

This Gen 2 Coyote came in for a Whipple supercharger install, giving it the airflow and boost it needs to make a serious jump in power while keeping the kind of street manners that make these cars so much fun to drive.

Supercharger installs, supporting mods, tuning, and the details that make the combination work together are all part of what we do at Paul’s Automotive Engineering.

Sometimes the best upgrade is just adding boost.

Some builds are a little more serious than others.

This Hellion twin-turbo Coyote combination now sits under the hood of a Boss 302, and it’s a good example of the kind of work we take on at Paul’s Automotive Engineering.

From engine setup and turbo systems to fuel, cooling, wiring, tuning, and all the details that make the combination work together, we’re able to handle the complete package from start to finish.

A twin-turbo Boss 302 isn’t exactly subtle, and that’s kind of the point.

A lot of what we do at Paul’s Automotive Engineering comes down to taking a pile of parts and turning it into a combination that actually works together.

Engine swaps, transmission upgrades, EFI conversions, wiring, cooling, fuel systems, accessory drives and all the little details in between are what make or break a build. Anybody can order parts. The hard part is making sure they fit, communicate and perform the way they’re supposed to once they’re in the car.

Whether it’s a classic Mustang getting a modernized drivetrain, a Coyote swap, or a complete performance build, we handle the project as a complete system instead of just focusing on one piece at a time.

This is the kind of work that keeps our shop busy, and exactly the kind of project we like getting into.
