Our Story
Busted Nut Diesel is a small, family owned and fully operated Diesel Performance and Repair shop. Established in 2017 right in the heart of Castle Rock, Colorado by 2 Colorado Natives. Over 30 years experience, Ford Certified Master Diesel Mechanic on staff, Cummins Specialist on staff. Servicing all makes/models of light to medium duty diesel trucks. Honest, quality service every time!
Back in 2017 Rick and I, along with the help of our two boys, opened up Busted Nut Diesel. Endless hours and nights were put into making the shop something to be proud of before the doors opened. We are asked all the time how we came up with the name. To be honest, one night of throwing names back and forth, this one was mentioned and stuck. We figure, you will either love it or hate it, but you won’t forget it! Through the years, we have had hundreds of people from all over the US stop to take pictures out front and come in to buy apparel, so it works!
Rick, is a Ford Certified Master Diesel Mechanic with over 30 years experience. Rick studied at Wyotech and graduated with his associates in Diesel Mechanics/Business. He began his career at Ford, where he spent 16 years. From there, he moved on to various Diesel Performance shops spending several year with each of them learning to master all other makes and models. This man eats, sleeps, breath diesels! You can find him at the shop daily turning wrenches.
Then there is me! Hi, I am Sheila. I am the first face you will see when coming into the shop, if not than I am out at events learning the latest and greatest for all of you. My background is in Nursing but my love for all things Diesel started with my first Megacab, it was all downhill from there! I let the guys handle the wrenches while I take care of business.
