Remembering Walter "Wimp" Petrachonis

With heavy hearts, we share the passing of our dear friend, Walter "Wimp" Petrachonis, 72, a resident of Nescopeck, who left us unexpectedly on March 7, 2025.

Walt was not only a cherished friend but also a passionate supporter of the museum. His love for history and dedication to preserving his father’s collection led to a special display in his honor. We are grateful that we were able to complete the window before his passing, allowing him to see and appreciate this tribute to his family's legacy.

He will be deeply missed, but his memory and contributions will live on.
