BMW XM 🔥

Definitely not something you see every day. The BMW XM is BMW M’s flagship performance SUV, combining a twin-turbo V8 with plug-in hybrid power and 600+ horsepower depending on the model.

This one came to Prysm Protective Films to get the front doors matched up with the factory privacy glass using Autobahn Black Ceramic 15%.

Nixon’s Window Tinting in Orland Park had a client who wasn’t completely satisfied with the PPF installations on his previous vehicle and didn’t want to experience those same issues on his new one.

Jake referred the client to me, so I drove up from Bloomington and spent the week at Nixon’s Window Tinting installing a full-body PPF package on this 2026 Bronco Raptor.

Every painted surface was protected with Autobahn RoadGuard PPF, backed by a 10-year manufacturer’s warranty. The hood decal and grille were wrapped in matte PPF to preserve the factory appearance, and I finished it off with Autobahn HART PPF Ceramic Coating to help keep this Bronco protected and looking great for years to come.

Nearly every panel was either bulk installed or had the patterns extensively extended to create cleaner, tighter edges that are much harder to see. 👌

2026 Mercedes-Benz GLS450 AMG-Line in for a complete protection package.

To help preserve the finish from everyday road hazards, we installed Autobahn Road Guard Paint Protection Film on the full front end, rocker panels, full rear flares, A-pillars, luggage strip, door edges, and door cups. We also protected the interior trim pieces with PPF to help defend against scratches and wear from daily use. To enhance the driving experience, the main infotainment screen received matte PPF, reducing glare and fingerprints while maintaining clarity.

For added comfort and heat rejection, we completed the vehicle with Autobahn Black-Ceramic window tint throughout. The factory privacy glass was enhanced with 70% ceramic film, the front doors received 20%, and the full windshield was protected with 50% ceramic film to help reduce glare and infrared heat while maintaining excellent visibility.

From protecting vulnerable exterior surfaces to preserving the details inside the cabin, this GLS450 AMG-Line is ready for the miles ahead.

2024 Audi RS7 in for a tint refresh. Referred to us by a returning client, this RS7 arrived with existing film that measured 5% VLT—darker than the owner preferred. We carefully removed the previous tint and installed Autobahn Black-Ceramic 20% throughout the vehicle, providing excellent heat rejection, a refined appearance, and a comfortable level of privacy for everyday driving.

During the removal process, we discovered multiple layers of film from previous installations—two layers on the quarter windows and three layers on the rear hatch. We also addressed uneven edges and contamination left behind from the prior work. Safe to say, this RS7 left with the clean, precise installation a vehicle of this caliber deserves.
