Over the past few weeks, I’ve had the honor (along with my Broad Arrow Auctions colleague, .shaffer) of helping bring the legacy of Porsche Master Mechanic David Glenn to market.
David wasn’t just a name in the background; in Pfaffenhausen during the 1980s, he was Ruf’s engine program director for the legendary Yellowbird, a longtime specialist with Porsche Motorsport North America, and a trusted engine builder, restorer, and historian whose expertise shaped legends.
Now, from his estate, we’re offering an extraordinary selection of road and race Porsche cars, engines, gearboxes, tools, projects, and personal workshop treasures, and it’s all being sold without reserve on Hagerty Marketplace this fall.
