Major improvements to the facility for the 2027 season and beyond

We are incredibly grateful to the DC Community Foundation for supporting Phase 4 of our Grandstand Renovation Project! 💚

Their generous grant helped us complete fall-through protection in the grandstand and new concrete in front of the west restrooms. These improvements help us continue making the Davis County Fairgrounds safer and better for our community.

Thank you for investing in the Davis County Fairgrounds

Check out Jeff's recap of Saturday's action

A full week of rain wiped out most of the racing in our region, but the Bloomfield Speedway stayed dry enough to race and Saturday's show was a good one featuring plenty of action like you see here through the lens of Carroll Hoover. For the story from the "Back Stretch", click the link in the comments below.

The Bloomfield Fairboard, Race committee, and Mike Van Genderen want to thank all the drivers and fans for coming out this weekend. Mother Nature challenged us heavily with extreme weather conditions. We were lucky to be the only show that didn't get canceled in the whole Midwest. We fought the extreme conditions especially on Friday. Saturday we were lucky to get the track ironed out and beat the heavy rains that followed. The drivers put on an amazing show. Thank you.

We will see you at the end of March for our Spring Show.

Thanks to Carroll Hoover for the amazing photos

Races tonight will start with hot laps on the early side of 6. Races to follow immediately. All big tires will run first as Mother Nature has given us plenty of moisture and just keeps adding with high humidity.

We will keep posting updates. We got exactly what we expected for rain within .01 today. They predicted .88 and we got .87. The amount of rainfall predicted for Friday and Saturday is very small and with 80+ temperatures and the right timing of this rain at non race times we should be fine. But it is Mother Nature and we never know. We are excited to race this weekend and will do everything possible to get it in.
