I wanted to take a quick moment and address a situation that has been ongoing.

I had to release a customer due constant harassment, threats, stalking, and racism.

I do NOT condone racism of any form. Not only do I have many friends from differing ethnic backgrounds, but I also have family of color. Racism will never be tolerated within my business.

I have evidence of all of this and have no issue proving it in the appropriate setting if need be. This client pushed past boundaries calling 7 days a week, after hours, waking my wife and I up at 2 a.m. He has sent inappropriate messages telling me he "misses me" and that goes a little past the client relationship.

The date changed of when this vehicle would be done because the client kept adding more in to be done. One day he wanted it painted this way, a week later he wanted additional graphics added.

When I got into the restoration process so much rust was found in the car that he did not want to wait or pay extra. He kept insisting to primer it even after I advised him the rust needed addressed. Again I refuse to release a paint job that won't last because it's not properly done just because the client is impatient. These are classic car restorations, they take time to do correctly.

I advised him that my whole family had the flu and even posted a closure of my business end of November to keep my clients well informed. All were very understanding except this one. He said ok when I let him know and within two hours he was demanding I work on his car. My wife, kids, and I could barely get out of bed. We had to push his car out while vomiting to appease his threats of trespassing in private property. He said he was above the law and could do as he pleases. I had to filed a police report and have them present as he picked his vehicle up. This is the first client I have ever dealt with who has behaved in this manner. For the future I will not tolerate this and only wish to work with people who value mutual respect for one another. I run my business based on integrity and ethics.

This client has not been able to remain calm and composed enough to even speak with him.
Which leaves me little to work with.
