Reminder: Winter Parking Restrictions remain in effect. Do not
park on the even side of streets that are not Snow Emergency Routes.

The heavy accumulation has narrowed streets, which pose a safety hazard when emergency vehicles cannot navigate these streets to reach people who need assistance.

City crews continue to work on road and alley conditions. With warmer temps this week, now is the time to remove compacted ice and snow from sidewalks, shovel around trash bins, etc.

Remember 4x4 and AWD doesn’t give you superpowers in the snow, slow down on roundabouts and on ramps / off ramps on the highway, that’s where the majority of vehicles slide into the ditch

It’s snowing again so get ready for Round 2 Folks. Most roads are clear or getting there but it is still slick in spots.

A couple of reminders:

1. Leave early
2. Slow down
3. Head lights and tail lights on
4. Seatbelts on
5. Leave space around your vehicle (don’t tailgate)
6. Eyes up and look where you are going
7. Stay home if you can
8. If you crash and are able, move your vehicle to a parking lot or quieter street
9. If you cannot move your vehicle, stay inside with your seatbelt on
