🌵 Over 100 saguaros saved. Every single one.
When we broke ground on Rock Springs RV Resort, we knew we weren't just building on land — we were building in the heart of the Sonoran Desert. And that comes with a responsibility we took seriously from day one.
Here's something most people don't know: in Arizona, it's illegal to cut down a saguaro cactus — and you need a state permit just to move one. Violations can carry fines of $200 per foot and up to 25 years in prison. That's how seriously Arizona protects these icons of the desert. And so do we.
Saguaros are irreplaceable. Some live 150–200 years. So before construction began, we obtained the proper permits, brought in professionals, and carefully relocated every saguaro on-site to a temporary "cactus garden" where they could rest and root safely while we built around them.
Now? They're going home. 🏡
Watch as our gentle giants take their permanent spots throughout the resort — standing tall as a reminder that this place was theirs first.
We're proud to be stewards of this land. Come see the desert the way it was meant to be — wild, beautiful, and very much alive.
