It is a 2019 Chevy Silverado RST 5.3l with 90k miles and a clean title. The DFM/DOD has already been deleted completely! It had the full lifter and camshaft replacement done with a pulsar LT module to ensure the computer stays in v8 as well. The Pulsar module also allows the driver to control things like pedal sensitivity, gear ratios, etc. Along side these upgrades, we have installed a brand new Billet cover torque converter.

This 6l80 had a delayed engagement only when warm because the particles would settle overnight and only disperse through the transmission, in between the clutch plates, and into the solenoids when the fluid warms up.
Zoom in on the picture of the transmission dipstick you can see some grey residue and very tiny particles. If your dipstick looks like this, you need to pull the pan to inspect it.
This 2018 Silverado is getting a new transmission but we will use this one as an opportunity to dig into it to see what caused the failure and do a full rebuild. Never a bad thing to have an extra 6l80 on hand!
