Meet Me in Down Dog at Kiwanis Park!!

👏🎉We are so excited to have Transitions Yoga bring the morning zen to BisMarket again! This is their 8th year with us, and we want to make sure everyone is aware of this amazing and fun opportunity!

Transitions Yoga will be offering FREE community yoga classes at Kiwanis Park every Saturday, beginning at 9:00am, from June through August, weather permitting.
These all-level classes are part of Transitions Yoga's continued commitment to making yoga accessible while supporting local connection through BisMarket and the wonderful vendors that make the market possible.

Each class is donation-based and supports one of three incredible local organizations:
– Ministry on the Margins
– Furry Friends Rockin’ Rescue
– North Dakota Human Rights Coalition

That's not all!! It gets better!! 🤗 Transitions is excited to continue their First Saturday (each month) Coffee Collaboration with Balancing Goat Coffee Co. They generously provide free coffee after yoga so participants can enjoy a warm-up and wind-down experience with their amazing brew.

Yoga participants are encouraged to bring a yoga mat and stay after class to enjoy the market, local shopping, and the vibrant community atmosphere of BisMarket!

Classes are open to all levels, and while registration is not required, anyone who signs up in advance through the Transitions Yoga website will be entered into a drawing for a 10-class credit giveaway! Head over to www.transitions-yoga.com and check it out!

🚨🚨Applications for Kids Markets will be available on Saturday, May 30 at 9:00am!🚨🚨

Here's the lowdown:
-There will be three Kids Markets this season: June 27th, July 18, August 8
-There will be a cap of 15 kid vendors spaces for each market.
-Each kid vendor gets to attend ONE market date, so start brainstorming with your young entrepreneurs on when they want to shine.
-Applications are processed in the order they are received; keep in mind we get a very high volume of kids applying and unfortunately do have to turn some of them away due to our limit of 15 per event.
-Once a date is full, we CANNOT add anymore kids to that market! The earlier your kiddo applies, the better their chances are to get the date of their choice.
-There will be an option on whether or not you would attend a different Kids Market if your primary choice is no longer available; however, this does not guarantee a spot!
-Kids do not have to pay a vendor fee.
-Current BisMarket vendors are welcome to share their booth space with their kids (this does not count towards the 15).

Applications will be taken through June 23 or until we are full, whichever happens first.

👀❓We have been getting a lot of messages asking whether or not there will be a Kids Market this year. YES!! We're having THREE this season!

🚨Applications are 👉NOT👈 available yet!
In fact, they won't be ready until closer to June. May is a crazy month for our team, and while we know the entire market season is important, there is soooo much to finalize and have ready by opening day.

We do know this much:
-There will be a cap of 15 kid vendors spaces for each market.
-Each kid vendor gets to attend one market date, so start brainstorming with your young entrepreneurs on when they want to shine.
-Once a date is full, we CANNOT add anymore! The earlier your kiddo applies, the better their chances are to get the date of their choice (like last season, they can choose a backup date just in case).
-Kids do not have to pay a vendor fee.
-Current BisMarket vendors are welcome to share their booth space with their kids.

Again, applications are NOT available yet. Please be patient with us! We promise more info will roll out as we get closer!! 🫶

Hey BisMarket fanatics! 🎉

So, we tried to adult and hire a new market manager... but let's just say it didn't work out as we all hoped it would. 😓But that's okay! We can get through anything thrown at us because Chaos is our middle name! Well, if we had a middle name, it would be Chaos. Or maybe something more like AMAZINGNESS!!

Anyhoo, we're back to our usual shenanigans! 🤪

Introducing our brand spankin' new market manager, Vicki Fossum! 🎉

This Bismarck native is a total boss: BHS alum, former BSC instructor, and a Master's in English Lit (don't even get her started on Shakespeare 📚).

When she's not saving the world, you can find her sipping coffee and nomming pastries at local shops with her fur babies, Penny and Phoenix 🐾.
By day, she's does technology education and training for Sanford Health’s Leadership Education and Development Center, but by night, she's a dog mom extraordinaire! 🐾💻

We're stoked to have her on board and can't wait to see what kind of awesomeness she brings to the table! 😎

Hey BisMarket crew! 🎉

We've finally pinned down a new date for the Spring Vendor Meeting and scored an awesome new spot! 🎉
Some of our board members can't attend, BUT, you'll get to meet our fabulous new market manager (stay tuned for her social media debut this weekend 👀) and chat with the board members who didn't have better things to do 😜.

We'll dish out the deets for the 2026 season, so come armed with questions! 🤔

BisMarket's got the pizza covered, but we're counting on you to bring the snacks - surprise us with your culinary skills (or not, we won't judge... much 😜).

🚨🚨Well, BisMarket family, we've hit a few hurdles and need to postpone our Spring Vendor Meeting! 😭

With it being North Dakota, who knows what kind of snow we're actually going to get in the next few days. We understand that can make it difficult for our out of town peeps (and even the in town peeps!) to attend. ❄
Also, we had a staffing issue come up and want to make sure everyone has a chance to meet the market manager.
We are working with Bismarck Parks & Rec to find a perfect meeting space and date. Right now, we're hoping for the end of April, though it may not be on a weekend like we'd hoped. As we get more information, we'll update you here on social media.

Thank you for hanging in there with us while we adjust, readjust, and adjust the readjusted. 😁
